Police: Teens Arrested During Marijuana Deal
Three teens were arrested Tuesday trying to sell pot to another teen, the Utica police said.

Three Sterling Heights teens were arrested Monday afternoon in the Utica parking lot while in the middle of a marijuana deal, the said.
The teens, whose names are not being released pending arraignment on charges of selling marijuana, were booked and released pending warrant authorization.
Two of the teens are 18-year-old males, and one is a 17-year-old male.

Police said around 3 p.m. they noticed two vehicles, a blue Chrysler New Yorker and a white Trail Blazer, parked side-by-side in the rear parking lot of Wendy’s.
The officer wrote on a police report that he immediately noticed an expired license plate that was no longer in production, and as he approached the vehicles, he noticed the driver of the Chrysler gesture toward the center console of his vehicle.

When the officer asked the front passenger of the Chrysler what the ZigZags on his lap were for, the passenger responded, “for smoking marijuana,” according to the police report.
While searching the Chrysler, the officer found 10 small bags of marijuana, with about one gram in each, in a black bag and another nine small bags the same size inside the front ashtray.
Also, the officer found a digital scale and cash on the teen driving the Chrysler.
According to the police report, the two teens in the Chrysler had met up with the other teen in the Trail Blazer to sell him $80 worth of marijuana.
The teens were arrested and booked at the Utica police station.
