Last Friday a catalytic converter was sawed off a minivan parked on Hill Drive, inside an apartment complex.
The vehicle owner noticed the damage the next morning when the car was turned on and made a very loud noise, according to a police report.

Tools Stolen From Garage
More than $2,600 in tools was stolen from a garage on 25 Mile Road Monday.
Police said the lock on the garage was broken off and a chainsaw and an extension pole pruner were stolen.
Both cases have been closed because of a lack of suspects. Anyone with information is asked to call the Shelby Township Police Department at 586-731-2121.
