Trampoline Facility Coming to Shelby Township
A new Sky Zone Indoor Trampoline Park, an all-trampoline, walled playing court facility, will open later this year in Shelby Township.
Sky Zone Indoor Trampoline Park will be expanding into Shelby Township later this year.
The facility, which features an all-trampoline, walled playing court, will open this summer, according to a press release. A similar facility will also be opened in Novi.
“In 2004 when the first Sky Zone opened its doors, we knew we wanted to spread our concept throughout the United States and beyond to allow as many people to experience a new kind of activity and entertainment,” said Jeff Platt, President of Sky Zone LLC, in a release. “Thus far, our facilities have been a big hit in Canton and in other parts of the country, and we are looking forward to bringing Novi and Shelby Township residents the perfect combination of fun and fitness with Sky Zone’s ultimate high-flying experience.”

The facility is geared toward children, teens and adults, and features activities including 3-D Dodgeball, a fitness class, open jump, along with hosting parties and team building programs.
Sky Zone Canton and the new facilities are owned and operated by Colleen Fitzgerald, of Brighton.

“My children and I fell in love with Sky Zone when we visited the park in Columbus, Ohio,” said Colleen Fitzgerald, Owner of Sky Zone Canton, Novi and Shelby Township, in a release. “Our team and our guests have had an amazing experience so far in Canton. We are passionate about providing families with a safe and unique place to spend quality time together while encouraging healthy lifestyle choices and we can’t wait to bring that to the rest of Michigan.”
