Utica's Clark, Montgomery Shine at State Golf Finals

Two golfers finished in the top 10 at the Division 1 state finals Saturday at the Meadows at Grand Valley State, according to mhsaa.com.

Utica’s Taylor Clark tied for sixth with a 167 after rounds of 85 and 82, and Julia Montgomery was eighth with a 169 (86-83).

The Chieftains finished sixth as a team with a two-day total of 749. Grosse Pointe South won the state tournament with a 692.

Other players for Utica were Killian Casson (190) and Angela Hagen (223).
