Wake Up, Shelby and Utica: Aug. 4

2. UCS' English as a Second Language program has taught more than 700 adults to read and write English. Registration for the fall classes is in August.

3. Last chance to register for the extreme coupon cutting class at the Shelby Township library tonight.

4. Take a look at Patch's newest, and to-date, youngest blogger, Eisenhower High School student Lorenzo Santavicca, as writes about the world through a really technologically savvy teenager.

5. Thursday is Ladies Night out at Empire Lounge in Shelby Township. I'll drink to that!
