A New Miss St. Clair Shores to be Crowned

Michigan's longest running Miss America primary will bestow the title of Miss St. Clair Shores on a young woman from St. Clair Shores or Macomb County Saturday at South Lake High School.

One of the longest running traditions in St. Clair Shores continues tonight at South Lake High School.

The 60th Miss St. Clair ShoresΒ Scholarship PageantΒ will be held at 6 p.m. Saturday at South Lake High School.

The program is a preliminary for the Miss Michigan Pageant, and ultimately Miss America. At each level participants have the opportunity to represent the city, and their platform, at a variety of events. Additionally, they receive scholarships.

In 2012, Miss St. Clair Shores Angela Venditti was crowned Miss Michigan. She was the first Miss Michigan sinceΒ Sherry Agnello Colby in 1973.Β

Tickets are $15 for theΒ Miss St. Clair Shores, Miss Teen St. Clair Shores and Little Miss St. Clair Shores Pageant, with proceeds benefitting the scholarship program.
