Why are you running for City Council?
I chose to run for city council to be a voice for not only the residents, but also business owners, and advocate for their concerns. Some of those concerns expressed are the needs of increased community services. Those services could include, but not limited to, suicide prevention, autism awareness, teen bullying, and substance abuse programs. My goal is to continue to improve the way residents can communicate with an open line of communication, and an open mind to get the resources they need.

What are your top priorities for your term if you win?
Considering where there is blight, the probability is high for a rat problem. A protocol should be implemented to strictly enforce blight issues which will aid in the reduction of rat infestations.
I would like to develop our unused beaches within the city parks into a concept like an urban beach. This can be done by utilizing donations which could be cash, volunteer time, or physical products. Food trucks may also be brought in to attract residents.
