Lakeview, Lake Shore Golf Teams Advance
Lakeview golfer Luke Trocchio wins Division 2 district tournament.
golfer shot a 71 to win individual honors at the Division 2 district tournament on the West Course at Maple Lanes on Thursday.
Trocchio’s performance helped Lakeview tie Lake Shore for second as a team at the event on the par-71, 6,024-yard course. Marine City won the event with a four-player scorer of 311.
Both Lakeview and , which advanced to next week’s Division 2 regional tournament at Heather Highlands in Holly on June 9, had a 317.

In addition to Trocchio, Lakeview’s Danny Schwarzwalder shot a 74 to tie for second.
Other top scorers for the Huskies were Tom Garbe (84) and Joe Sedrowski (88).

Lakeview tied with Anchor Bay with a 343 at the MAC Blue Division tournament on Tuesday at Marysville Golf Course.
Trocchio led the Huskies with an 80. Garbe had an 85, Schwarzwalder had an 86, and Alex Rovda had a 92.
Trocchio and Garbe each earned All-MAC Blue Division honors.
