Lakeview Swims Past Marine City
Kasandra Kaplan, Marisa Shock, Megan Palazzolo and Paris Dimick lead the Huskies swimming and diving team to victory.

The girls swimming team defeated Marine City 100-80 on Thursday.
Kasandra Kaplan, Marisa Shock, Megan Palazzolo and Paris Dimick each won two events for Lakeview.
Kaplan prevailed in the 200-meter individual medley with a time of 2:52.64, and she won the 100 butterfly in 1:22.28.

Shock captured the 200-meter freestyle in 2:29.83, and she prevailed in the 400-meter free in 5:19.56.
Palazzolo won the 100 free in 1:05.06, and she took the 100 backstroke in 1:23.94.

Dimick prevailed in the 50-meter freestyle with a time of 29.57 seconds. The time qualified Dimick for the Michigan Interscholastic Swim Coaches Association meet. Dimick also won the 100 breaststroke in 1:26.54.
Lakeview swept all three relay events.
Palazzolo, Micha Thompson, Kaplan and Samantha Alarie combined to win the 200 medley relay in 2:26.95.
Dimick, Thompson, Alarie and Shock won the 200 freestyle relay in 2:08.49, and Shock, Kaplan, Dimick and Palazzolo won the 400 freestyle relay with a MISCA-qualifying time of 4:34.94.
Breanna Goggin of Marine City won the diving competition with a score of 179.51.
