Macomb County Week In Review: St. Clair Shores Firefighters Electrocuted

Two St. Clair Shores firefighters were injured Thursday night after being electrocuted while battling a blaze on a sailboat.

MACOMB COUNTY, MI — Two St. Clair Shores firefighters were injured Thursday night after being electrocuted while battling a blaze on a sailboat in the Jefferson Beach Marina. The fire is believed to have been caused by a lightning strike. Thankfully, no one was on the boat when it caught fire.

In other county news, the Clinton-Macomb Public Library announced it would be building a new North Branch, which could open as early as 2020.
