St. Clair Shores Day Planner: July 21

1. How hot? The temperature will approach 99 degrees, and the heat index will make it feel as if it is 106 outside, according to the National Weather Service. Try to keep cool and keep an eye out for any residents who may need extra assistance and care in the extreme conditions.
2. On Lake St. Clair, the winds will be light and from the southwest at 5-10 knots. Winds will pick up in the afternoon to about 15 knots, and waves will be one foot. There is a slight chance of storms tonight.
3. The Environmental Protection Agency will hold a on July 26 at to discuss PCB contamination of the 10 Mile Drain.
