Here are five things you need to know to start your day.

1. It could rain today, but you never can tell. The National Weather Service is calling for showers and thunderstorms after 2 p.m. The day will likely be mostly cloudy with a high near 73 degrees. There is a 60 percent chance of rain and gusts of wind up to 18 mph.
2. 3. The boys basketball team are hosting their Fifth Annual Golf Outing at 1:30 p.m. tomorrow at the Wesburn Golf & Country Club to raise money for the team's new equipment.
