6 City Council Candidates Will Proceed to November Election in Trenton

Here's five things to know about the Trenton City Council Primary.

Trenton residents headed out to seven precincts Tuesday to cast they ballot for the Trenton City Council Primary. An unprecedented 10 candidates were narrowed to six.

Here's a list of five things you should know about the Trenton City Council Primary.

  1. Six candidates will be running for three four-year term seats on Trenton City Council in November.
  2. The six candidates heading into the general election are Bob Baker, Timber Baun-Crooks, Dan Gillespie, Tom Kinney, Pamela O'Bryan and Steven Rzeppa.
  3. The top vote getter was Timber Baun-Crooks with 1333 votes.
  4. Only 16 percent (2,324) of registered voters in Trenton voted in the primary.
  5. Dan Gillespie and Timber Baun-Crooks (incumbent) have served on Trenton City Council in the past.
