Man Tells Police He Was Attacked by a Teen with a Knife
Police responded to a man who claimed he had been cut in the face by a teen with a knife.

responded to a call about a 35-year-old man who said he was cut in the face by a teen with a knife at about 5:15 p.m. near Lexington Park.
Police met the man at his house in the 2000 block of Lexington Court where the man said he was walking on a bike path near Lexington Park when he was approached by a young white male who “started saying things to him.”
The man said he told the teen to leave him alone and the young man approached him and the two started fighting. During the fight the man said he punched the teen and then the teen pulled out a small knife and cut him on the right cheek.

He said he punched the teen again, and the teen ran away.
Police said the man had a deep cut on his right cheek and blood all over his shirt and the right side of his face.

The transported the man to Oakwood Southshore Hospital.
Police searched for a teen who was described as a young white male, late teens, wearing blue jeans, a black hooded sweatshirt and white tennis shoes.
Police said they checked the streets and sidewalks from the man’s house to the park and checked the bike path in the park and could not locate the teen or any blood.
