MLB.com: Trenton High Grad to Pitch for Padres

The Trenton High School graduate, Anthony Bass, was called up from Double-A San Antonio to make his major league debut Monday as starting pitcher for the San Diego Padres, according to a report by www.mlb.com.

Bass played at Wayne State University in Detroit and was the Padres' fifth-round pick in 2008.
