News Brief: Trenton Police Hire Two New Officers

Two new officers are set to be sworn into the Trenton Police Department.

The has hired two new officers who are set to be sworn in Wednesday at .

The new officers are Scott Stadler and Greg Brewster.

The official swearing-in ceremony will be held by City Clerk Kyle Stack and is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. in the City Clerk's Office.

James Nardone, deputy chief of the Trenton Police Department, said the department was excited to be hiring two young officers in this economy.

"Our staffing is short," Nardone said. "We're trying to protect the citizens and we are trying to hire as many people as we can."
