We have a rundown on things to know today.
- Things are heating up out there. The National Weather Service is calling for temperatures near 85 degrees with partly sunny skies and wind up to 10 mph. We could see scattered showers and thunderstorms overnight with a low near 71 degrees. The weekend is a little spotty with rain on Saturday and sunny skies on Sunday. I guess it could be worse. It could rain the entire weekend.
- In recognition of Trenton's rich hockey traditions, we bring you the Hockey Term of the Day: charging, a minor penalty which occurs when a player makes a deliberate move of more than two steps when body checking an opponent; if serious injury is caused or blood is drawn it becomes a major penalty.
