We have a rundown on things to know today.
- The sunshine is back. The National Weather Service is calling for mostly sunny skies with a high near 77 degrees and gusts up to 32 mph. Things will cool off quite a bit tonight with a low near 60 degrees.
- In recognition of Trenton's rich hockey traditions, we bring you the Hockey Term of the Day: center ice, the area between the two blue lines, also called the neutral zone. Terms are brought to you by www.firstbasesports.com.
- While other school districts including Woodhaven, Wyandotte and Southgate begin to wrap up negotiations with teachers and agree on contracts, the Trenton district continues to negotiate.
- Be sure to sign up for the summer addition of the Nature Nook called Squirmy Worms at the Trenton Cultural Center. The and have teamed up once again to bring nature related knowledge to local kids. The program is scheduled for July 8 and the registration deadline is July 5.
- The Michigan Merit Exam information will be released today at 10 a.m. These results include ACT scores for the Trenton School District. Look for a story to follow the release.
