Trenton Public Schools Utilizing Google Apps for Education

Trenton Public Schools is pleased to introduce Google Apps for Education a 21^st century approach to curriculum and learning for our students.  We will be joining over 8 million other students and teachers that already are using Google Apps around the world.

Google Apps for Education is a special setup of the popular Google Apps, tailored specifically for educational institutions.  The online tools are available 24/7 from any Internet-connected device and provide students and staff tools to create, collaborate, and communicate. 

The tools include:

• Gmail: individual email account for school use managed by Trenton Public Schools

• Calendar: customizable calendars to organize schedules, activities, and assignments

• Drive: a single secure place for up-to-date versions of your files from any computer
• Docs:  a word processing, spreadsheet, presentation, and drawing program that allows multi-user access and editing

• Sites:  an individual and collaborative website creation tool (internal use only)
