Slurpee Lovers Seek Brain Freeze Despite Rain

Though temperatures are down from the weekend, Trenton residents still took advantage of Free Slurpee Day at 7-Eleven.

People rushed through the rain and into the doors of the 7-Eleven on King Road to get their hands on a free Slurpee.

Today is Free Slurpee Day at area 7-Eleven's to celebrate the convenience store's birthday according to the official 7-Eleven website.

Residents braved the thunderous weather to take advantage of the free 7.11 ounces available for each customer who walks through the door.
