Free Children's Eye Exams

State Rep. Martin Howrylak and the Lions Foundation are teaming up to give free children's eye exams through the Project KidSight program on Sunday, Oct. 6 at Fire Station #5 in Troy from 1 to 4 p.m. The eye exams will take place as part of the firehouse's open house event.

"This is a great program that helps identify any vision trouble children might be having so they are not hindered in learning and in life by poor vision," said Howrylak, R-Troy. "I am happy to be teaming with the Lions Foundation to bring this great program to the community."

Project KidSight is a high-tech mobile vision screener that is programmed to quickly and accurately identify vision disorders in children ages infant to 5 years old. The procedure is quick and non-invasive, allowing for a high volume of tests to be done in a short amount of time.
