Good Samaritans Rescue Driver From His Burning Semi-Truck
The semi-truck reportedly drove off Telegraph Rd. and struck a tree before catching on fire.

OAKLAND COUNTY, MI — A 39-year-old Flint man was rescued from his burning semi-truck by Good Samaritans, according to a press release.
The incident happened at roughly 5:33 p.m. on Jan. 4. Oakland County Sheriff's Office Deputies responded to the 200 block of South Telegraph Rd. in Pontiac on a report of a semi-truck that traveled off the road and into a tree. The OCSO Communications Center received reports that the truck caught on fire and Good Samaritans rescued the driver from the burning vehicle.
Deputies say that the driver suffered minor injuries, and Star EMS transported him to McLaren Oakland.

The cause of the accident is under investigation. Witnesses stated that the driver seemed to be having medical issues. Alcohol does not appear to have been a factor.
