Heavy Rain Possible Thursday, Friday
Rain will clear out after Friday, making for a nice weekend.

METRO DETROIT, MI — Parts of Metro Detroit were hit with heavy rain Wednesday afternoon causing some flooding on area freeways. That chance of heavy rain will continue Thursday and Friday.
According to the National Weather Service, showers and thunderstorms are likely Thursday evening with up to a half-inch of rain possible. The chance of rain on Friday is about 50 percent, again with up to half-inch of rain possible. The good news is, the weekend looks dry and a little cooler with highs predicted in the 70s.

Friday: A chance of showers and thunderstorms before 2pm. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 78. Southwest wind 9 to 13 mph, with gusts as high as 26 mph. Chance of precipitation is 50%. Friday Night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 59. West wind 10 to 13 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph.

Saturday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 77. West northwest wind around 10 mph. Saturday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 61.
Sunday: Mostly cloudy, with a high near 77. Sunday Night: A chance of showers. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 63.
On Monday, the National Weather Service says there will be a chance of showers and skies will be mostly cloudy. Expect a high near 77.
