White Chapel Memorial Park Cemetery in Troy recently hosted its Fifth Annual Care Package Drive for Overseas Military Troops which resulted in the collection of thousands of items ranging from coffee to duct tape to granola bars. A team from White Chapel Memorial Park Cemetery recently delivered donated items to the Michigan Military Moms for packaging. The Michigan Military Moms mailed approximately 80 packages to overseas military troops.

“It is an honor for us to host the care package drive for overseas military troops,” said David R. Krall, vice president of White Chapel Memorial Park Cemetery. “The generosity of metro Detroiters each year is inspiring. It is important for our military troops overseas to know that we are thinking about them and appreciate all they do each day to preserve our freedom.”
