The 2nd Annual Troy High School 5K & Fun Run was another runaway success story for the THS Orchestra. Between the runners, parent and student volunteers and race supporters, nearly 300 people congregated at Boulan Park on Oct. 7 for the start of the event.

The lively pre-race entertainment was provided by the THS Country Fiddlers, while a student duet jammed with electric guitar and violin at the finish line!

The 5K raised funds for Troy High School's award-winning Orchestra program, and will help defray costs associated with the Orchestra's extraordinary 'no-audition invitation' to play at Lincoln Center in NYC in April.
