Thieves Stole Tires And Rims Off Of Vehicles At Elder Ford Dealership: Police
Troy police arrived at Elder Ford dealership as the suspects loaded stolen tires and rims into a U-Haul.

TROY, MI — Five men hailing from Detroit were busted stealing tires and rims from Elder Ford dealership, according to a press release.
The incident happened on Jan. 5 at approximately 3:38 a.m. Troy police observed the suspects stealing tires and rims from thirteen vehicles at Elder Ford located at 777 John R Rd.
Troy police say that the suspects arrived at the dealership in a U-Haul and a stolen 2000 Chrysler Voyager, and were loading the tires into the U-Haul as officers approached.

Four suspects took off on foot and one remained at the scene. All five were ultimately apprehended by officers. The suspects are a 36-year-old man, 26-year-old man, 25-year-old man, 24-year-old man, and a 20-year-old man. The men were charged with Larceny From a Vehicle, Possession of Burglary Tools, Possession / Receiving a Stolen Vehicle, Damage to Property. Four suspects were also hit with a Resisting a Police Officer charge for attempting to flee the scene.
