Police Say Bong Found on Teenager at Boulan Park

Troy Police arrested a 17-year-old at Boulan Park on Saturday night after they say he was found possessing marijuana and a "bong" used for smoking it.
The incident took place at 10:34 p.m. at the park on 3671 Crooks Rd., where the driver was sitting in his vehicle after the park had closed for the night. Officers said that smelled marijuana coming from inside the vehicle and saw the bong sticking out from underneath the driver's seat.
Officers received consent to search the driver's vehicle and found marijuana in its' console. The driver was arrested for possession of marijuana, possession of narcotic paraphernalia, and an after-hours violation.

- Raintree Park, 3775 John R Rd., Sept. 16, 3:10 a.m.: Troy officers responded to a single car accident. Witnesses stated a vehicle went off the road and struck several trees in Raintree Park. Officers arrived and observed the vehicle with heavy front damage and the driver unable to exit the vehicle. The driver had a strong odor of intoxicants coming from her person. The driver, a 45-year-old from Troy failed field sobrieties and was arrested for operating while intoxicated. A blood draw was done with results pending.Â
- Rochester Road and East Long Lake Road, Sept. 14, 11:55 p.m.: Troy officers responded to an accident scene. The responsible driver had slurred speech and admitted to drinking. The driver, a 29-year-old from Rochester Hills failed field sobrieties and was arrested for operating while intoxicated. Breath test results were .21 percent.
