Shooting At Troy Church Blamed On Aliens

Suspect Believed Church To Be Invading Spaceship

Yesterday morning, a 40-year-old Troy man fired shots at Zion Church in Troy, because he thought the building was literally the work of space aliens. No one was hurt, according to reports by Chanel 7.

Troy Police Sergeant Meghan Lehman told Chanel 7 that the attack wasn’t religiously motivated, but stemmed from a false belief in extraterrestrial interference. “We have absolutely no reason to believe this individual targeted this church because it was a church or he had a beef against Christians. We don’t suspect that at all,” Lehman said, adding “Mental health could be an issue here. He did say that he thought that building was a spaceship for aliens,”she added.
