Suspects Evade Troy Police During High Speed Chase
Three suspects, who attempted to steal items from a Troy Home Depot, avoided arrest after a high speed chase.

TROY, MI — Three men were able to elude Troy Police after a short high-speed chase Friday night. Police reports said two men came into Coolidge Highway Home Depot shortly before 10 p.m. and tried steal several items.
The store’s loss prevention department was able to stop the men before they could leave and they were ordered out of Home Depot. A third suspect approached a store manager, explaining that he was with the two other suspects but was not involved in the theft. He was identified as a 56 year old male from Port Huron though his State of Michigan Operator’s License.
The manager later observed the two suspects, only described in police reports as being African-American, in the parking lot where employees park their vehicles. Reports said it appeared that they were tampering with a vehicle parked there. The manager approached the suspects who then took off running north through the parking lot.
