Tickets Available for 20th Annual Shoot for a Cure

Proceeds from the event will benefit the Henry Ford Neuroscience Institute and the Hermelin Brain Tumor Center.

Tickets and sponsorship opportunities are now available for the 20th annual Shoot for a Cure fundraiser, which will be held at 6 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 13 at the hotel. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Henry Ford Neuroscience Institute and the Hermelin Brain Tumor Center.

Guests at the event, the theme of which is “A Night to Remember,” will enjoy cocktails, hors d'oeuvres, gourmet seated dinner, a live auction and live entertainment. The event is black tie optional.

Honored at the event will be Mort and Brigitte Harris of Bloomfield Hills; Bill and Madge Berman of Franklin; and Gail and Dr. Mark and Gail Kelley of Bloomfield Hills. In addition, there will be a special tribute to past honorees, many of whom will be attending.

Henry Ford Neuroscience Institute is one of the nation's leading centers for neurological diseases. Proceeds from this event help fund research in many disciplines, including neurological diseases such as amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), Parkinson's disease, Alzheimer's disease, multiple sclerosis, epilepsy and brain tumors.

The Hermelin Brain Tumor Center at Henry Ford has long been a national leader in research and treatment of advanced brain tumor therapies. The mission of the Center is to provide new hope, and to turn brain tumors into a chronic, controllable disease. The Center sees more than 700 new patients annually.
