Trick-Or-Treat Early At Troy's Historic Village

Halloween costuming-wearing trick-or-treaters are invited to wander "fairytale land" in search of goodies.

TROY, MI — There’s no need to wait until Halloween to collect a few treats in Troy. That’s because the Troy Historic Village will host “Trick-or-Treat: Fairytales, Folklore & Fables” on Oct. 28 from 12:30 - 3:30.

Residents of all ages can don their Halloween costumes and wander around the Village’s “fairytale land” in search of goodies. They will encounter storybook characters, potions and elixirs and magical beasts in the quest, according to Village officials.

Activities will include pumpkin bowling, ringing the anvil and jousting, among others. Kids can also make a dragon craft to take home, collect mini-pumpkins courtesy of Troy Garden Club and teeth-friendly treats from Dr. Daniel O’Brien and the Art of Smiles.
