Troy Waitress Arrested For Assaulting Patrons

Troy Police arrested a Detroit woman after she got into a scuffle with patrons at a Coolidge Highway restaurant.

TROY, MI — A server at McCormick and Schmick’s Restaurant on Coolidge Highway was recently arrested after a scuffle with several patrons, according to a Troy Police Department report. A fight broke out after the patrons had complained about poor service from the server, a 21-year-old Detroit woman.

Police arrived at the restaurant at about 8:30 p.m. on Aug. 20. The patrons received an apology for the poor service, although it wasn’t clear from police reports if the apology came from the Detroit woman or a manager. The fight started after the apology.

During the scuffle, one victim had their necklace broken by the employee and a second victim received bruises on her arm and had her fingernail ripped off, Troy Police said. Officers arrested the Detroit woman and she was charged with two counts of assault and battery.
