Elementary Principal 'Speechless' with Donation of $1K of School Supplies

Karrie Martin, a fifth-grade teacher at Mary Helen Guest Elementary, one of 12 Walled Lake Schools elementaries, was awarded $1,100 worth of school supplies from Office Max through the program "A Day Made Better" on Tuesday.

Guest was chosen to receive an additional $5,000 in school supplies for the entire school and staff.

"We were speechless and couldn’t thank them enough.  We have the boxes lining our hallways for our families to see," said Guest principal Michelle Fiebke-Lang.

"It has been an exciting day for our students and staff."
