announced that patients and staff had helped to raise $700 on Thursday to benefit the Officer Patrick O'Rourke family trust.
, was killed in the line of duty Sept. 9. The fund benefits the health, education, and welfare of O'Rourke's three elementary school-age daughters and infant son, and his widow, Amy.
"I was pleased that patients mailed in checks, talked in with cash and specifically schedued appointments yesterday knowing that proceeds would go towards the Trust," Tarnopol said.
