West Bloomfield Schools to Honor Military, Police and Fire Heroes

On will hold its Second Annual Family Fun Night prior to its scheduled 7 p.m. football game against Troy Athens. The highly successful event from last year is again designed to be a fun community evening with all fun activities free of charge to West Bloomfield families.

Activities include bounce houses, face painting, Rock Climbing Wall, an inflatable Football Toss, Raptor Vehicle, The Spider Blow-Up Tent, G.I. Johnny Air Balloon, Dunk Tanks, a Video Arcade on Wheels, and an F-16 Mini Fighter Jet. Activities will run from 5:00 pm until 6:30. Free cider and donuts, flash drives other prizes will be given out while supplies last.

In addition to the activities, Police, Fire and Military will have police and rescue vehicles, a fire engine, patrol boat, and military vehicles on display and for tours. There will be a tribute ceremony at 6:45 with honor guard honoring our armed services and the police and firefighters who protect us every day.

Entry to the football game will be $5 for adults, and elementary and middle school students wearing their school spirit will enter the game for free. Family area will be sectioned off in the bleachers to allow families and youngsters to sit together. There will be a half-time show with t-shirts and other giveaways, Marching Band and Dance Team performing.
