  • Planterra "Botanicals" exhibit collectors preview
Planterra Conservatory's preview of an exhibit featuring works by artist/photographer Laurie Tennent starts today at 6 p.m. The event benefits the The Kelly Fund of the College for Creative Studies. Tickets can be purchased purchased at planterra.brownpapertickets.com or by calling 248-661-1515.

2. Help others

You can save a life by donating blood at the hospital in Commerce on Friday, from 6:30 a.m.-11:15 a.m. Sign up at redcrossblood.org, use the sponsor code, "DMC" and choose Huron Valley-Sinai Hospital.

3. Just for fun

The radio show which airs Wednesdays from 5 p.m.-7 p.m. on WCXI 1160 AM will do a live remote broadcast June 19 at The Village Palace, 4170 Orchard Lake Rd. 

4. For your information

CEO of Weight Watchers Group, Mark will be installed during Monday's JCC Annual Meeting, which is open to the public and starts at 7 p.m. New board members and several award winners will be honored during the event.

5. Don't miss it

Happy's is hiring for a new West Bloomfield location at job fairs June 19 and 20 at corporate headquarters, 30201 Orchard Lake Rd. in Farmington Hills. Full-time and part-time positions are open.
