Chef Johnny Prep Teaches Kids Healthy Food Choices in Lansing

Bloomfield Hills resident Chef Johnny Prep spent Tuesday in Lansing, teaching more than 1,300 youth summer day campers from around the state about healthy food choices.

The children visited the Capitol lawn for the State of Michigan sponsored “Get Outside and Play” event.

As part of his presentation, Prep conducted a blind dried fruit tasting competition. Campers who correctly identified the dried fruit received a bag of healthy trail mix to take home.
