Sheep Shearing and More in West Bloomfield This Weekend

West Bloomfield Township Parks and Recreation's Fall Fest brings sheep shearing, live music, bouncers and more to Marshbank Park this weekend. 

Here's more information and a few other events on our calendar: 

1. Household Hazardous Waste Day

Drop off unwanted electronics, household cleaners, paints, herbicides, car batteries, gasoline, and more during this Saturday, 9 a.m.-2 p.m., event. Visit the township website for a complete list of items accepted. 

2. Fire Department Open House

Check out the Fire Safety Smoke House, Jaws of Life demo, helicopter landing, 911 phone simulator, rescue team demos and more on Sunday, from 12 p.m.-3 p.m. Held at Fire Station No. 5 on Maple Road. 

3. Fall Fest

Games, crafts, live music, sheep shearing, petting farm, pony rides and more are part of this event at Marshbank Park on Sunday, 2 p.m.-5 p.m. Charges for some activities, and food will be available for purchase.
