Unemployed or Underemployed? Take Microsoft Office Classes in West Bloomfield

The David B. Hermelin ORT Resource Center offers classes in January.

If you're unemployed or underemployed and looking for “Better Job Opportunities,” consider starting 2014 with a 12-week course in Microsoft Office 2010 offered at the David B. Hermelin ORT Resource Center in West Bloomfield.

The course begins Jan. 6, 2014.

Students will receive 72 hours of hands-on classroom training (two 3-hour sessions per week) that covers basic Microsoft Office skills: Word, Excel®, PowerPoint®, Access®, Publisher and Outlook®. Upon completion, participants earn a proficiency certificate. The program also includes job preparedness training and seminars.

Space is limited and an application is required for eligibility. The course fee is $720; however, students who are unemployed or underemployed may qualify for scholarships made available through funding from ORT Michigan and The Jewish Fund.
