What's Open, Closed for Christmas in West Bloomfield?

A holiday week lies ahead, and that means government offices will be closed. Here's what you need to know: 

• Township offices: All will be closed Tuesday and Wednesday. Town Hall will reopen Thursday at 8 a.m.
• Post office: The United States Post Office at 6725 Daly Rd. will close at noon on Christmas Eve and will be closed Christmas Day.
• Trash collection: If your trash collection occurs on Monday or Tuesday, it will continue on schedule. However, with no collection on Wednesday, collection will be moved a day later for the rest of the week.
• Library: The West Bloomfield Township Main Library and Westacres Library will be closed Tuesday and Wednesday. The libraries will reopen Thursday, with normal business hours, 9 a.m.-9 p.m.
• Emergency: Call 911 for police or fire emergencies. For any nonemergency issue, call the police department at 248-975-9200.
