Wyandotte to Host Ice Show 'Upon A Star'

Four teams from the Harmony Theatre Company will decend on Yack Arena in Wyandotte for Ice Travaganza: Upon A Star this month.

Ice shows are set for 7 p.m. March 22; 1 and 7 p.m. March 23; and 2 p.m. March 24.

Upon A Star will feature songs from Disney classics like Dumbo, Cinderella and Snow White. There will also be songs from the hit Harry Potter series of movies.

The ice show is a result of combined effort by the Wyandotte city officials and the Wyandotte Figure Skating Club.

“We are extremely excited to have have the Harmony Theatre Company join us in this year’s production of Ice Travaganza,” said Kim Cole, president of Wyandotte Figure Skating Club. “Theatre on Ice offers an exciting and dramatic style of figure skating as a team, that combines the grace of figure skating and excitement of dance and theatre that tells a story."

Tickets for the show can be purchased during normal business hours at Yack Arena.
