Light Snow Possible In Twin Cities Early Next Week, NWS Says
A weak system could bring light snow and mixed precipitation to the metro from Monday afternoon into early Tuesday, forecasters said.
MINNEAPOLIS, MN — A weak system early next week could bring the Twin Cities its next chance at a light, mixed-precipitation event, including some spotty snow as temperatures dip into the 20s.
The chances come after record heat on Friday brought temperatures soaring into the 70s.
It is officially a record setting afternoon! 🌡️ MSP's high of 72° sets a new daily high temperature record. The previous record was 71° (1990). St. Cloud's observed high of 68° ties the old record, which was also set in 1990.#mnwx
