Looking Ahead

The long-range temperature outlook from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) shows much of the country, including Minnesota, trending above normal as the calendar flips to October.

From Oct. 1–7, forecasters say there’s a 60 to 70 percent chance of above-normal temperatures across Minnesota and the Upper Midwest. That means warmer-than-average highs could stretch into the first full week of October.
