New Officer, K9 Added To Woodbury PD

WOODBURY, MN — Woodbury's Police Department recently announced that it had added new additions to the department's K9 unit.

Officer Emily Wessels and her K9 partner 2-year-old German Shepherd Kane are joining the department, Woodbury PD shared on Facebook. Kane is from the Czech Republic, the post said.

Woodbury residents were able to see the unit K9 in action at Woodbury Days on Saturday, the department said.
