Woodbury Woman Dies After Single-Vehicle Minnetonka Crash: Report
She died in the hospital Sunday night and was a passenger of a vehicle that was street racing, reports said. The car crashed fleeing police.
WOODBURY, MN — A 19-year-old from Woodbury has died after being involved in a crash in Minnetonka early Sunday morning, according to a report by 5 Eyewitness News.
Family members of Marina Emms confirmed to the station that she died in the hospital Sunday night, the report said.
The driver of the vehicle, 19-year-old Devlyn Voss of Maplewood, died at the scene, officials said.

According to Eden Prairie Police Department, at 1:31 Sunday morning officers responded to a report of multiple vehicles street racing at Flying Cloud Drive and Crosstown Circle.
Several vehicles fled when officers arrived, but officers pursued a vehicle as it entered Minnetonka, police said.

After losing sight of the vehicle, officers discovered that it had crashed near a home on Baker Road, police said. It was a single-vehicle crash and Voss was declared dead at the scene, police said.
Voss and Emms were the only two in the vehicle, police said.
The Minnesota State Patrol and Hennepin County Sheriff’s Office are leading the crash investigation and reconstruction of the crash, police said.
