Agenda Item 6 – Recognition of Red Rock Search and Rescue’s 10-Year Anniversary: City Council will recognize Red Rock Search and Rescue in honor of its ten year anniversary. Founded in 2012 when hiker Ron Kirk went missing in Calico Basin, Red Rock SAR formed to help families search for their missing and lost loved ones. The non-profit 501(c)3 is made up of approximately 200 highly skilled and trained volunteers from all walks of life, such as retired military, paramedics, off duty police officers, firefighters and people with a heart for giving back to their community. They train to deploy in all types of weather and terrain, from 100 degree dry deserts to frozen mountains and urban neighborhoods. They are on standby 24/7/365 to assist families who need help, free of charge.
Agenda Item 36 – Annual Comprehensive Financial Report: City Council will hear the annual audit of the financial statements of the city which were conducted by an independent public accounting firm.

Agenda Item 37 – Pedicabs and Pedalbuses: If adopted at this meeting, this bill will amend LVMC Chapters 6.63 and 11.39 regarding pedicabs and pedalbuses to update definitions, clarify the circumstances under which motor assistance to those devices can be supplied and clarify license-related insurance requirements.
Agenda Item 38 – Number of Dogs, Cats, Ferrets & Rabbits: This bill will be read out loud, but there will not be any public comment or action taken. If adopted at a later meeting, this bill will amend various provisions of LVMC Title 7 to increase from three to four the number of dogs, cats, ferrets or rabbits that can be kept at a particular place or residence without a specific permit to do so.
Agenda Item 51 – Cat’s Meow: City Council will discuss and vote on a Special Use Permit to allow a Liquor Establishment (Tavern) at 450 Fremont St., Suite #201.
