Former North Las Vegas Police Officer Announces Sheriff Bid
Tim Bedwell announced on Tuesday he is running for Clark County Sheriff in 2018.

LAS VEGAS, NV - The candidate pool for Clark County Sheriff has increased to two. Retired North Las Vegas police officer Tim Bedwell announced his candidacy for the position, the Las Vegas Review-Journal reported on Tuesday.
Current Clark County Sheriff Joe Lombardo announced his reelection bid last summer. In a statement, Bedwell said he wants to create a "more open, more responsive, public safety culture at Metro," the Review-Journal reported.
The position is a four-year term.
