Las Vegas Police Investigating Shooting On Twain Avenue
Police called the shooting "an active event" and said road closures should be expected in the area.

LAS VEGAS, NV - Las Vegas Metropolitan Police are responding to a shooting that occurred on the 500 block of E. Twain Ave. One victim has been transported to the hospital, according to Officer Larry Hadfield. Police responded to the incident at 2:03 p.m. on Thursday.
"This is an active event and expect road closures in the area," Hadfield said.
UPDATE (3:57 p.m.): The victim was transported to Sunrise Medical Center and is expected to live, Hadfield said. Twain Ave. was closed both ways.
