Metro police are trying to find a suspect they say attempted to kidnap two girls on Feb. 6.

LAS VEGAS, NV - Las Vegas Metropolitan Police have released a sketch of a suspect they say attempted to kidnap two young girls on Feb. 6.

The first incident occurred around 6:40 p.m. when a man described as a medium built male, either white or Hispanic, between the ages of 18 and 20 with a tattoo on the right side of his neck attempted to pull a 6-year old girl into a vehicle on the 2700 block of Marlin Ave. The suspect drove off after family member confronted him. Shortly thereafter, a man approached a 7-year old girl at a playground on the 3700 block of E. Bonanza Rd. and "attempted to take her with him," police allege. He was again confronted by family and fled the scene before officers could arrive.

The suspect fled in a red, four-door sedan with silver trim around the windows. Anyone with information about this suspect is encouraged to call LVMPD at 702-828-3755 or 702-385-5555.
