Red Rock Canyon Increases Fees

The fee for Red Rock Canyon's 13-mile scenic drive increased on Tuesday.

LAS VEGAS, NV - An expected fee increase at Red Rock Canyon took effect on Tuesday. Entry into the 13-mile scenic drive will go up "to ensure the Bureau of Land Management meets its preservation, recreation, public enjoyment and visitor experience management goals," according to a statement on Red Rock Canyon's website.

As of Tuesday's price increase, entry will now cost $15 for cars, $10 for motorcycles, $5 for bicycles and pedestrians, $20 for individual campsites, $10 for walk-in campsites, and $60 for group campsites. The fee for an annual membership will remain at $30.

The fee increase is the first at Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area since 2011. The BLM said that the increase will help offset the costs of additional amenities, activities, and services since then.
